Paralegal Program Announces Fall II Term

Spartanburg, S.C. - SMC has opened registration for the Fall II term of their Paralegal Certificate Program.

The Fall II term will offer a capstone course on prison, which will be open to the public as an audit option. The course will involve touring local prisons and detention centers, hearing from wardens, and taking a serious look at the state of US prisons.  Discussion topics will include the business aspect of prisons - cost surges, privatization of prisons, and the link between prison employment and today's economy. Classes will begin on November 29th / December 1st.

SMC's Paralegal Program started in 1997, and has been instrumental in the lives of many adult students looking to advance their legal careers.
