Ask-A-Librarian


Electronic reference service is available to all faculty members, staff members, students, and alumni of Spartanburg Methodist College.

  • Questions submitted should be short answer or brief requests for research assistance. For lengthy answers or research requests, users will need to come to the Library.
  • Librarians will not read/edit papers submitted using this format. Students should visit the Writing Center for assistance with writing papers. The Writing Center is located in Walker 306 and is open Monday-Thursday from 1pm-4pm.
  • A response will usually be sent within 24 hours but may take longer for questions submitted during the weekend. Therefore, electronic reference is not the best option if an immediate response is needed.
  • All submitted requests are kept confidential.
  • Please include first and last name as well as SMC affiliation (student, faculty, staff, or alumnus) when submitting questions to: mbblibrary@gmail.com
