Each offers its own unique resources, including event listings, related publications, and news items. All of these pages allow Facebook members to join the page as 'fans,' join in on discussions, and post comments. So check us out on Facebook also - and join in as a 'fan.' You just might find that you're already more connected to SMC than you realize.
The above listed Facebook pages are the only official pages on Facebook that SMC utilizes for the posting of information about Spartanburg Methodist College, its mission, athletics, events, activities, and publications. Any other pages on Facebook that appear to promote SMC and any related activities or messages are not operated nor are they sanctioned by the College (this includes pages that are operated by students, without faculty or staff oversight) - and will not be recognized as official outlets for the College.
Please note:
The above listed Spartanburg Methodist College Facebook pages are used specifically for the purpose of sharing information with potential students, current students, and alumni. It is expected that all users of those pages will treat them as such. Therefore, Spartanburg Methodist College reserves the right to remove any content, including postings, comments, and/or photos posted on its Facebook pages that may be considered inappropriate and/or offensive in nature.
In the event such content is posted to either Facebook page operated by SMC, the individual posting that content will be notified that their posting is being removed. The College also reserves the right to remove an individual from the roster of 'Fans' from either page if they post inappropriate/offensive content. Individuals enrolled at SMC who do post content to the College's Facebook pages that is considered to be offensive/inappropriate in nature may also be subject to disciplinary measures as outlined in the Student Handbook and/or the Athlete Code of Conduct.
