Welcome to the portal containing details about Orientation at Spartanburg Methodist College. We are glad you will be joining us at SMC. Orientation at SMC consists of two stages: Academic Orientation in the summer and Pioneer Power Up just before classes begin in the Fall.

Pioneer Power Up
Pioneer Power Up is a four day experience designed to help new students become acclimated to life at SMC, which
takes place the first Friday - Monday that Freshmen are on campus. Click on the link above for a detailed schedule (available in June of each year).

Orientation Checklist:
- Do you have a clearance card? Call the Business Office at 587-4234 if you have yet to receive one.
- Have you signed your financial aid award letter? Call the Financial Aid Office at 587-4298.
- Do you have your room assignment if you are living on campus? Call Residence Life at 587-4247.
- Have you made your Orientation reservation? Register online or call the Student Activities Office at 587-4006.
- Does the Admission's Office have your final transcripts? Call Admissions at 587-4000.
