Kappa Sigma Alpha Service Fraternity announces leadership team for 2014-2015

The Kappa Sigma Alpha Service Fraternity is pleased to announce the leadership team for next year’s Board of Directors.  The following students have completed the application and interview process, and have demonstrated a passion for community service!

President — Matt Bishop, son of David and Teresa Bishop of Spartanburg (Dorman High School)

Vice President — Kendall Witt, son of Kimberly and Kenneth Witt of Mauldin (Mauldin High School)

Secretary — Glory Pi, daughter of Gina Bonilla and Johnny Pi Pascual of Simpsonville (Mauldin High School)

Chaplain — Pierce Cannon, son of Princess and Franklin Cannon of Landrum (Landrum High School)

Members-at-large include Anah Bagwell, daughter of Barbara and Steven Bagwell of Mayo (Boiling Springs High School); Andrew Coggins, son of Jan and Steven Coggins of Inman (Chapman High School); Sakeenah Fowler of Inman (Chapman High School); Emily Plemmons, daughter of Vicki and Thomas Plemmons of Inman (Boiling Springs High School); and Victor Ramirez of North Charleston (RB Stall High School).

KSA Advisors for 2014-15 include:

Betsy Steel-Walton — Academic Computer Lab Assistant 

KSA provides the opportunity to learn leadership and life skills through service to others!

Our Mission:  ΚΣΑ is a co-ed service fraternity with membership open to all SMC students.

Members participate in service activities that impact individuals on the SMC campus, the greater Spartanburg area, and even internationally!

Service projects have included:

  • Ronald McDonald House
  • Lions Club Fair Booth
  • Miracle Hill Rescue Mission
  • Hope Center for Children
  • Windsor House Assisted Living Facility
  • S.C. School for the Deaf and Blind
  • Operation Christmas Child program
  • Adopt-a-Highway
  • Salvation Army

Any student can participate in our service projects, but paid members have the additional privilege of:

  • Receiving an official ΚΣΑ t-shirt and decal
  • Attending ΚΣΑ SOCIAL EVENTS
  • Leadership opportunities
  • Facebook group page membership
