The Military College of South Carolina and a graduate of Belmont Abbey College. I am married to a wonderful, beautiful lady from Boiling Springs. We live in Boiling Springs with our Yorkie, Piper.
I have been an admissions counselor for seven years. Each day I have the pleasure of positively affecting a student’s life. What is a piece of advice that you would give a new student coming to college?
You should treat your college studies like a full time job. Forty hours a week should be allotted to class and studying. Take advantage of the resources at your disposal. Build a relationship with your professors, visit the writing center and tutoring center. The remaining hours of the week, spend them how you like.
What is your favorite event or activity on campus at SMC?
Guest Fest, Campus wide cookout and celebrations.
Where do you like to hang out off campus in Spartanburg?
Downtown Spartanburg. Music on Main.
