BB&T Makes $40k Pledge to SMC
Donations Will Fund Improvements

BB&T made a $40,000 pledge to help complete funding for the newly-constructed Bridges Residence Hall at Spartanburg Methodist College. Standing in front of Bridges Hall (from left) are Dr. Charles P. SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Spartanburg Methodist College received a $40,000 pledge from the Branch Banking and Trust Company (BB&T) Foundation to help complete the funding for the newly-constructed Bridges Residence Hall.
The gift also strengthens the College's "Five Year $20 Million Total Funds Campaign" and will help the College in its efforts to secure the $1 million challenge grant provided to the College by Drs. Edgar and Charlotte Ellis of Columbia.
