SMC Awards Student-Athletes

Spring Athletic Awards Held April 28

SPARTANBURG, S.C. –  Spartanburg Methodist College recognized its top athletes in Softball, Men’s and Women’s Basketball, Wrestling, Men’s and Women’s Tennis, Golf, Cheer and Dance teams during Spring Athletic Awards ceremonies April 28 at Camak Auditorium. Awards were given as follows:

 

Men’s Basketball

Academic and Citizenship -- Sidney Hoff (Columbia, S.C.)
Presidential Most Valuable Player -- CJ Jackson (Columbia, S.C.)
Best Defensive Player -- Terrell Smith  (Columbia, S.C.)
Coaches Award -- Terrell Smith  (Columbia, S.C.)

Women’s Basketball

Coaches Award -- Jessica Delcastillo  (Columbia, S.C.)
Best Offensive Player -- Ashley Watson (Spartanburg, S.C.)
Most Improved -- Adrian Williams (Great Falls, S.C.)

Cheer

Captain’s Award -- Emily Bridgeman (Inman, S.C.)
SMC Cheer Award -- Chandra Hyman (Rock Hill, S.C.)

Dance

Team Spirit -- Nicole Watson (York, S.C.)

Golf
