Spartanburg Baseball Camp

CAMP DATES AND TIMES

June 2-6 (Ages 8-12-Little League Ages)

June 9-13 (Ages 8-12-Little League Ages)

9:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.

Cost  $190 

Location and Facilities

The camps will be held on the campus of Spartanburg Methodist College with Mooneyham Field as the primary center of activities. Rainy weather will move the camp indoors to the Bridges Arena and Moore Athletic Activities Building (aka "Old Gym" or "Smoak House").

Staff

Campers will be coached and instructed by high school and college coaches. College players will aid in individual periods of instruction.

Application and Fees
Please fill out and return the  Registration Form and Liability Waiver* (requires Acrobat Reader to view), along with the $190 total fee for the camp(s).  Your cancelled check will serve as verification of acceptance. We will notify you if the camp is full and return your fee. Enrollment is limited to 120 per session. Each session will be filled on a first-come, first-serve basis. The fee covers the cost of instruction, meals, supplemental insurance and camp T-shirt. 

The Liability Waiver must be signed, dated, and submitted with the registration form. 

What to Bring

Each camper is to bring their own bat and glove each day. All catchers will be asked to provide their own equipment. Each player should also bring a pair of tennis shoes in case bad weather forces the camp inside.  

Camp Instruction

Camps are run with a structured daily schedule.  The coaches have prepared an effective schedule to get the most accomplished during the time allotted.  

Director

Tim Wallace will serve as the director of the camp.  Wallace is the head coach at Spartanburg Methodist College.  He has extensive experience in coordinating, facilitating and instructing at various baseball camps throughout his career.  

Discipline Policy

Camps will be run with a structured daily schedule. to promote the effectiveness of the camp, any campers disrupting instruction or camp operation in any way will be disciplined. If a camper persists in such disruptive behavior, he will be dismissed with no refund.
