SMC Freshman Day of Service 2007

Alive and Well Animal Rescue received assistance with several tasks from SMC students.

SMC students helped teachers at Jesse Boyd Elementary School prepare their classrooms for the upcoming school year.

Students helped with various tasks at the Spartanburg Humane Society including bathing animals and doing yardwork.

Freshman helping at the Goodwill Industries store assisted in stocking shelves and sorted and processed donated goods.

Students helping at the Spartanburg Conservancy's Cottonwood Trail did some heavy lifting and landscaping, to help maintain the walking trails.


A group of SMC students assisted the Habitat for Humanity with
various construction tasks on two of the organization's newest home sites.


The Middle Tyger Community Center received assistance with cleaning, landscaping
painting and other tasks from a group of SMC Freshmen.
