College Work-Study

1. Federal Work-Study Program

a) Based on financial need as determined by the FAFSA.

b) Students may work on campus or in the local community.

c) Awarded on a first-come, first-served basis.

d) Must be paid at least minimum wage and at least once a month

e) Funded through federal and institutional resources.

2. Institutional Work-Study Program

(f) Funded through institutional resources only.

(g) Limited to areas requiring special needs and/or skills.

(h) Student receives an hourly rate of pay for the number of hours worked.
