Dan Kenneally
Men's and Women's Soccer Coach

Coach Dan Kenneally joined SMC in 1995 as the men’s soccer coach after coaching at Greensboro College in Greensboro, N.C., where he was assistant coach in men’s and women’s soccer teams from 1990-1994. Kenneally began coaching the women’s team in 1997.

During his career at SMC, Kenneally has coached the men’s team to a 107-75-16 record, and the women’s team to a 80-69-13 record. Kenneally was named Region X Men's Coach of the Year in 1995 and 2000 and Women's Coach of the Year in 1999 and 2004.

His other coaching experience includes ODP Western New York, Eastern New York, Greensboro Soccer Club, Spartanburg Soccer Club, Camp UNC Chapel Hill, SUNY Farmingdale, and Alfred University. Kenneally played soccer for ODP Eastern New York and North Carolina State.

Kenneally received an Associate of Science degree in Business Management from State University of New York at Farmingdale, and a Bachelor of Science degree from Alfred University. He resides in Spartanburg with his wife, Marissa, and two children, Thomas, 8, and Ashley, 6
