PREPARING TO RETURN TO CAMPUS:
#1. INDOORS: WEAR A MASK UNLESS YOU ARE ALONE (EMPLOYEES/STUDENTS) OR IN A RESIDENCE HALL SUITE (RESIDENT STUDENTS). Wearing a mask keeps you from spreading the virus if you are infected and don't know it. Everyone will be given a supply of masks and you may also bring your own EXCEPT for masks with a front valve.
#2. SOCIAL DISTANCE: STAY SIX FEET APART FROM ANYONE WHO DOESN'T LIVE IN YOUR HOME (EMPLOYEES/COMMUTERS) OR IN YOUR RESIDENCE HALL SUITE. Staying six feet apart protects you and others from virus droplets that can be spread through breathing, talking, sneezing or coughing.
#3. OUTDOORS: IF YOU SOCIAL DISTANCE, YOU DON'T NEED A MASK. Virus droplets disperse quickly in the open air, making it safer to be outside. You MUST also remain six feet apart from anyone who doesn't live in your home or in your Residence Hall suite.
#4. WASH YOUR HANDS AND COVER COUGHS AND SNEEZES. Hand washing kills COVID-19. Use warm water and soap, and scrub for at least 20 seconds. Do this frequently throughout the day. Or use a generous amount of hand sanitizer that is at least 60% alcohol and rub for 30 seconds.
#5. TRACK YOUR HEALTH EVERY DAY. All students, faculty and staff will track their health every day of the week through our HealthChampion app. Assessments must be complete before arriving to campus or leaving Residence Hall rooms.
