About APEX, SMC Capstone Expo: Students complete 18 credit hours of Professional Development courses in the “Camak Core,” as a requirement of our bachelor’s degrees offered at SMC. The final course of the PDEV concentration is Capstone, where students implement a project of their interest demonstrating their problem solving and project management skills. APEX is an event hosted by the Professional Development faculty, where attendees hear about the completed projects and students reflect on what they learned through the process.
