Local high school standout Jeremy Vangsnes graduated from SMC as the captain of the Cross Country team. Nine  years ago he was thrown from a car during a mission trip in Montana. The near fatal accident left him unable to move most of his body. Suffering from a severe traumatic brain injury, Jeremy was believed to be in a permanent vegetative state.

Jeremy is still paralyzed in most of his body, but he can kick his left leg. Jeremy uses that leg to paint abstract expressionist images. He names them by communicating through leg kicks as his family recites the alphabet, transcribing messages of hope and joy.

Join us for this powerful look at a local artist who never stopped kicking.
