SMC has chosen USI Consulting Group (USICG) to administer the College’s 403(b) Plan effective October 1, 2024. Participants in the plan will be receiving announcements and notification documents. If you are part of the TIAA Group Contract in a Retirement Choice (RC) or Retirement Choice Plus (RCP) contract, your balance will automatically transfer to USI Consulting Group. If you have an individual contract at TIAA (Retirement Annuity (RA), Group Retirement Annuity (GRA), Supplemental Retirement Annuity (SRA), Group Supplemental Retirement Annuity (GSRA), TPA Contract), you will need to take action and complete paperwork to transfer those balances to USICG. USICG will be hosting information group meetings on August 21st in Gibbs Auditorium. These sessions will last 30-45 minutes and are meant to provide an overview of the transition and answer any initial questions you may have. SMC will offer 4 options throughout the day at 9:30, 10:30, 1:30, and 2:30. Each session will contain the same information, and we will plan to record one session.
