The Chief of Campus Safety is responsible for implementing a community policing model that advances the core principles of Spartanburg Methodist College and provides exceptional service to the SMC community. The Chief of Campus Safety ensures that the department works closely with individuals and groups within the College community to maintain an atmosphere of cooperation, respect, and fairness that enhances the quality of campus life and reduces risks and vulnerabilities on the campus. The Chief of Campus Safety coordinates the planning, management, and supervision of all phases of operations of the department to protect life and property at the College.
