Mid-Semester Interviews
π Location:Β On campus; location and times vary
π₯ Open to all full-time and adjunct faculty
π‘ Mid-Semester Interviews, or MSI's, are a way for you to gain insights into your students' experiences in class, offering you ideas for how to make your teaching even more effective in the second half of the semester. During an MSI, a faculty member will come to your classroom and solicit feedback from your students while you are not present; you will then do the same for your faculty partner. This offers students an anonymous space to share their ideas about how to increase their learning in your classroom. The process takes approximately 20 minutes (and then your normal class will resume). You and your faculty partner will meet after the MSIs to discuss the results, collaborating with each other to develop a plan that incorporates student feedback into your teaching practices.
