Transfer Credit Information

Transfer & Other Credit

At SMC, we make transferring or starting your degree here as easy as possible by awarding degree credit for other college, work and life experiences.

With a qualifying AA or AS degree*, ALL your credits transfer to one of our bachelor's degree programs. If you don't have a completed Associate Degree, no worries - we'll review your transcript to see which courses will apply at SMC.

*AA, AS, AFA degrees qualify for full credits transfer. AAS, AAA, AOS, AAT degree holders' credit reviewed by course, but not eligible for all-credits transfer.
