This will be the first meeting of the STEM Club.  STEM is an acronym for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics.  We will discuss topics related to these fields.

For our first meeting, we will certainly electrocute a pickle.  You may be surprised by the results.  We will also attempt to break spaghetti noodles into two equal pieces by hand.  Why is this almost impossible to do?

Some of the things we could possibly do in this club are:

1. Turn a PS4 into a computer with the goal of playing Nintendo games.  It should work in theory but, you never know until you try.  We can learn a lot from this hardware hacking.
2. How four GPS satellites are used to calculate your position on the Earth.
3. Build bridges using toothpicks and test designs using weights.
4. Build cool electronic gadgets.

What would you like to learn about?  We will elect officers and discuss our future meetings.
