Q: Why did you choose to be a Trustee for SMC, and what is your connection to SMC? 

A: Ed Ellis asked me to serve as a Trustee. After he told me about the wonderful things happening at the college, I knew I wanted to be involved. My husband attended SMC and has many fond memories.

Q: What do you like most about being an SMC Trustee? 

A: I like keeping up with everything happening at SMC, and I love passing that knowledge along to many other people.

Q: In your own words, what is SMC's mission and purpose?  

A: For me, it all boils down to helping young people who likely wouldn’t be able to get a college education without the help of SMC.

Q: What do you like to do for fun? 

A: I like reading, gardening, antiques, and playing with my grandchildren.
