Transfer Credit Information

Transfer Credit

At SMC, we make transferring as easy as possible. With a qualifying AA or AS degree, you automatically qualify to enroll in one of our bachelor's degree programs. But that's not the only way to get credit when transferring.

Credits from other colleges can transfer - even if you didn't earn your associate degree. You can also get credit for military service, workplace experience, professional certifications, and more.

Check out the various ways you can earn credit when transferring to SMC below. Our team is happy to evaluate your situation and let you know exactly how many credits you can transfer.

Those who haven't completed their associate degree or earned an AAS, AAA, AOS, or AAT degree, we will review your transcripts and tell you exactly which credits will transfer.
