NOTE: International students must complete the application process at least three months prior to their initial enrollment at the college.
Take these steps to apply to SMC:
Complete an Online Application
Apply early to guarantee your place. GO TO APPLICATION
Send Your Transcript
Provide a secondary or post-secondary transcript, with a specific date of completion, to our Admissions Office.
Secondary-Level Work
Provide an official English translation of secondary-level work (or any post-secondary work); official translation must be through WES or notarized by a translator.
Official Test Scores
Provide your official Duolingo English Test, TOEFL, SAT or ACT score.
Financial Support Affidavit
Submit an official Affidavit of Financial Support issued by a bank or notarized. The financial declaration must cover the net amounts necessary for a two year period (including any institutional financial aid).
Current Passport
Please include a copy of your current passport with your application materials.
Proof of Insurance
Proof of insurance is not required at the time of application but will be required before you begin classes at SMC.
