Help Your Students with Their College Search
SMC is the Way College Should Be
College should be affordable, without sacrificing quality: More than 60% of SMC students qualify for a full-tuition scholarship and 75% finish with NO loans and NO debt. And, 93% are employed or enrolled in a graduate program within six months of graduation.
College degrees should include career prep: At SMC, career prep is built in to every four-year degree rather than being extra study giving our graduates an advantage in the workplace.
College should offer flexible degrees that fit your goals: At SMC you will earn two degrees in four years. The associate degree offers a chance to enter the workforce or move on to one of our 10 bachelor's degree programs.
College should have your back: Small classes, supportive faculty, free counseling and tutoring, and a single person who serves as your academic and career advisor, success coach, and familiar face to talk to, SMC provides all the support your need to succeed.
Affordable: Tuition Covered for Qualified Students
High-performing students who enroll in on-campus degree programs can get rewarded for their academic achievements at SMC with one of our two scholarship offers that cover the cost of tuition.
All South Carolina LIFE Scholars with a 4.0+ GPA qualify for the Pioneer Promise Scholarship, which covers tuition, fees, AND books. So, all you pay is room and board if you live on campus or nothing if you commute.
With the Full-Tuition Scholarship, any student with a 3.0 or higher GPA who is eligible for the South Carolina LIFE Scholarship gets tuition covered at SMC as long as they maintain eligibility.
