2. Get ahead and possibly graduate earlier
Are you trying to graduate early but don’t want to overload yourself in the fall? Taking classes over the summer is a great way to get ahead without putting a strain on your schedule.
3. Boost your GPA
Maybe you had a semester where your grades slipped a little. Without the distractions of a full course load, you’ll be able to focus on earning the grade you need to bring up your GPA.
4. Could help you maintain eligibility for the LIFE scholarship
One of the criteria for keeping your LIFE scholarship is to maintain a 3.0 GPA. If your GPA could use a boost, taking a summer class can help bring up your GPA (see number 3), so you can keep your LIFE scholarship.
Another criteria for keeping your LIFE scholarship is to earn 30 credit hours each academic year. If you need more credit hours before the fall semester starts, consider taking summer courses to maintain your LIFE scholarship eligibility.
