Dozens Inducted into SMC Honor Societies
Spartanburg Methodist College recently held its annual induction ceremony for three honor society chapters at the school.
More than 40 students were recognized for their academic achievements in English, psychology, and general academics, with several being inducted into multiple societies.
The Sigma Kappa Delta English Honor Society requires a 3.25 grade point average (GPA) and a “B” or better in all English classes. Dr. Dalicia Raymond inducted:

The Psi Beta Psychology Honor Society recognized students who achieved a GPA of 3.25, completed 12 academic hours in psychology with a “B” or better average, and

Phi Theta Kappa is the National Scholastic Honor Society for associate degree students. It requires a 3.0 GPA and a minimum of 12 hours of courses with good moral character and good qualities of citizenship. Dr. Kristen Welch and Dr. Maria Kithcart inducted:
